Guest Session - Mr. Ramesh Gopal

On behalf of the Office of Career Services & Student Career Services Committee at IMT Dubai, we would like to thank Mr. Ramesh Gopal, CFA for taking time out of his busy schedule and enlightening us about renewed focus area in risk management.

Mr. Ramesh explained about the different types of risks like process, compliance & legal risk which are non-financial by nature, often ignored by banks and lead to big failures like recent crisis. Mr. Ramesh engaged with students in a discussion about SVB crisis and how it could have been avoided, the knowledge gained from the session will surely help students a long way in life. The session was extremely engaging and insightful.
