Faculty Development Program In Finance

Prof. Dr. Michael Troege - ESCP Business School, France Ph.D. in Financial Economics

IMTDubai organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) in Finance from 12-14th January 2023. This was the second program in a series of four FDPs intended to introduce academics to contemporary research and industry practices. The FDP in finance focused on relationship banking, UAE banking trends, a comparison of banking practices across the USA, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, discussions on strategic default, and contemplation of the past, present, and future research areas on sustainable finance. The sessions were led by Dr. Michael Troege (Professor, Finance Department at ESCP Europe), Dr. Haroon Khan (Associate Professor, Accounting and Finance, University of Wollongong in Dubai), and Mr. Nilay Ranjan Singh ( CEO, SBI – Dubai). The enthusiastic participation of professors from IMT Dubai, Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, Institute of Management Technology, Hyderabad, and Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur, enriched the FDP sessions.
