Faculty Development Program In Analytics

Dr. Qizhang Liu Associate Professor NUS Business School Ph.D. in Mathematics

IMT Dubai, organized a three-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) in Business Analytics from 23rd February to 25th February 2023.

This was the last program in a series of four FDPs aimed at sharpening the pedagogical and research acumen of the faculty based on the latest trends and practices.

The FDP focused on contemporary topics, including data-based decision-making & optimization, data visualization, and business analytics in a new era. Further, the participants received practical training on R software and Power BI. The academic sessions were complemented by a discussion latest analytics industry trends and use cases.

The sessions were facilitated by Dr. Qizhang Liu (Associate Professor at NUS Business School), Dr. Bian Y. ( Associate Professor at the University of Wollongong in Dubai), and Mr. Amit Gupta (Director, Analytics).

The enthusiastic participation of professors from the Institute of Management Technology, Dubai and the Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur, enriched the FDP sessions.
