IMT Dubai invites applications for faculty positions across all ranks (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Lecturer) in the areas of;

Candidates must be Ph. D. in the relevant discipline.

  • Professor

Ph.D. or equivalent in a discipline relevant to the position with a track record of excellence in teaching, a minimum of 15 years of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor, ability to interact with a diverse student body and executives, a record of publications in standard refereed journals, ability to undertake research independently and guide Ph.D. scholars. Candidate should have high research, training, and/or consulting credentials

  • Associate Professor

Ph.D. or equivalent in a discipline relevant to the position, with a track record of excellence in teaching, a minimum of 10 years of experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor, ability to interact with a diverse student body, and executives, and ability to undertake research independently. A reasonable record of research publications is desirable

  • Assistant Professor

Ph.D. or equivalent in a discipline relevant to the position, with at least 3 years of corporate/research/academic experience; and the ability to interact with a diverse student body. However, in the case of a fellow or Ph.D. from any reputed university/institute, the experience requirement of 3 years may be waived.

  • Lecturer

Academic personnel who have recently completed Ph.D. may be appointed as lecturers. Such recruited faculty will be required to publish in ABDC-ranked journals to be considered for the rank of Assistant Professor. The responsibilities and workload of Lecturers will include academic and administrative contributions as assigned to them by the Director and Dean-Academics

    Position Summary: HR is responsible for managing all HR activities such as manpower planning, recruitment, orientation, performance management, rewards, recognition, and separation. HR is responsible for tracking and improving employee productivity through PMS, improving employee motivation and career development opportunities, control on attrition rates.

     Academic Qualifications: A Master Degree in HR

     Skills and Experience:

    • A minimum 3 years of related work experience in an institute of higher education
    • A high degree of computer literacy, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to communicate with high-level officials
    • Knowledge of databases is essential, particularly the ability to generate a variety of reports

    Position Summary: The position of the Manager QA&IE and Accreditations is responsible for implementing and supervising activities including aligning policies and procedures as per the standards of licensing and accrediting agencies.

    Position Summary: The Academic Programs coordinator is responsible for the management and administration of academic programs in the institute and the day-to-day coordination of the activities associated with all academic programs. The position will be part of a team that manages all institute-based student administration, teaching support, learning support and academic support services for the institute.

     Academic Qualifications: A Master Degree in a relevant discipline is preferred

     Skills and Experience:

    • A minimum 2 years of related work experience in an institute of higher education, preferably within a department interfacing directly with faculty and students
    • A high degree of computer literacy, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to communicate with diverse students and faculty community
    • Knowledge of databases is essential, particularly the ability to produce a variety of reports

    Position Summary: The Admission Counsellor is responsible for recruiting undergraduate and graduate students to support institutional enrollment goals. He/she also will be responsible for recruitment and admission outreach activities such as attending recruitment events, processing new students’ admissions, coordinating campus events, and enhancing networking opportunities as directed by the institution’s strategic recruitment plan in order to engage prospective students and cultivate relationships leading to enrollment of new students at the Institute.

     Academic Qualifications: A Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

     Skills and Experience:

    • A minimum 2 years of related work experience in an institute of higher education
    • Good verbal and written skills in English
    • Planning & Organizational skills
    • Multi-task-oriented team player
    • Knowledge of marketing and sales

    Job Position: Manager – Corporate Relations

    Job Purpose: To plan corporate engagement and outreach activities.

    Qualifications Requirements:

    A bachelor’s degree is often a minimum requirement for this position. Some of the most common majors for this role include business administration, marketing and communications.

    Experience Requirements:

    Minimum of 5 years working in a similar role and successful previous experience in consistently meeting or exceeding targets

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with corporates, alumni and students.
    • Maintain the list of current and prospective recruiters for different activities e.g. internships, placements, guest lectures and various other corporate engagements.
    • Interact with students and student representatives for understanding their career preferences.
    • Engage with alumni and maintain relationship in an ongoing basis.
    • Understand the continuing educational need of the corporate and alumni.
    • Promote executive education programs to corporates.
