The Harrington Best TQM Thesis Project Award
On 6th of March, 2017, at THE ADDRESS Hotel, Dubai Marina, The Harrington Best TQM Thesis/ Project Award was presented to Ms Tamilarasi Rajappa, an outstanding MBA graduate of 2016 from Institute of Management Technology Dubai, for her excellent performance in her MBA Program and her Thesis
The academic year of 2015-16 was an eventful one for IMT, with over 140 students participating in intercollege events and 27 of them bagging prizes in diverse fields. These students outperformed their competitors from leading UAE Universities such as SP Jain, UOWD and many others.

Ms. Monica Bharadwaj was selected to participate in the panel discussion on ‘Corporate Leadership’ at the conference from 12-15 February 2016 at Harvard University.
World Business Dialogue International Conference, Cologne Germany
Mr. Ashesh Das has been selected to participate in the World Business Dialogue that will be held from 14-18 March 2016.
Asian Business Leadership Forum (ABLF) Youth Ambassador Contest
Mr. Ayush Bansal and Ms. Anjum Aggarwal did us proud though their active participation in the contest. Ms. Anjum secured second position in the contest.
ACCA Business game contest:
Mr. Romit Jain, Mr. Savvy Trivedi, Mr. Pujan Kumar Verma & Mr. Vikrant won 3rd prize at the Business Game competition organized by ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) on November 3, 2015.
Speed Pitching Contest conducted by INFINITI
Mr. Konark Murarka, reached the final round of the event after having cleared a series of preliminary rounds, and competing against a large number of participants. Konark was given an opportunity along with other 29 finalists to pitch his idea to the jury within an allotted time of 7 minutes in an innovative pitching event.
TAPMI Quiz Competition:
In-house quizzers Mr. Ashwin Kumar S S and Mr. Advitiya Vashist registered a spectacular win in the UAE leg of TAPMI’s ‘Quiz on The Beach’ competition held on November 1, 2015. The competition aimed at discovering the best quizzing talent across UAE, India & Singapore. After two rigorous rounds of quizzing, our students emerged as the winners of UAE region.
BUiD Quiz Competition:
Ashwin Kumar SS, Aman Gupta and Advitiya Vashist proved their quizzing genius by winning second prize in the Biz Quiz 2015 organized by British University in Dubai (BUiD) on November 3, 2015. The IMT student team missed the first position by a narrow margin of 7.5 points.
CUCA CUP (City University College Ajman) 17 & 18 November 2015
Competing against 24 teams, Sahil Kamboj, Udit Nangia, Diwakar, Vishu Goel and Ayush Bansal put up a great competition. They backed up the “Runners-up” position in the Badminton Tournament organized by City University College Ajman.
DIAC (Dubai International Academic City) Cup 19 – 21November 2015
The student team, bagged 3rd position in the basketball tournament in DIAC Cup, competing against top universities like S.P. Jain, BITS Pilani-Dubai and Middlesex University in their group.
