IMT Dubai had the pleasure of hosting Ms. Heba Sayed, Marketing Head, IBM. She spoke about how the role of CMO is evolving in tandem with today’s growing digital world.
Though the role of the CMO no longer even exists in some of the famous brands like Coco-Cola, a company known for its creative marketing campaigns, there is still light at the end of the tunnel as there are also brands like McDonald’s corporation promoting their CMO to the CEO of the company.
She also spoke about how AI and other technologies are impacting the way CMOs market to their customers; North Face using it to make personalized outfit recommendations and Nike using VR to help customers find their real shoe size.
