A primary objective of scholarships at IMT Business School Dubai is to promote the educational opportunities for the high academic achievers. We understand the importance of difference and diversity and we do not want financial limitations or special needs to get in the way of a great education. We believe that every student has their own unique ability and achievements which deserve acknowledgment and recognition. Hence, scholarships are awarded in various categories as defined below:

1 Early Enrollment Grant Early payment of first year’s total fees (paid on or before July 30, 2019) AED 5,550 or USD 1,500

In order to be eligible for the early enrollment grant, the student must apply, receive an offer letter, and pay the total fees of the first year on or before 31st July 2019. A maximum of AED 5,550 (or USD 1,500) grant is applicable. This would be adjusted against the first year’s tuition fees.

Applicants from other curricula will need to apply to the Admissions Department for calculation of equivalency. Accordingly, the scholarships would be applicable.


If a student score CGPA of 3.75 and above during the program, he/she is eligible for merit scholarship for the next semester of the program. As per the scheme up to 20% of the following semester’s tuition fee is exempted for the students. For the merit based scholarships, student will be informed about the scholarship they may be eligible for and should meet the criteria as they will automatically receive the scholarship according to the student handbook.


This scholarship category is open to female students only. Students must submit an essay (at least 300 words) highlighting their profile, social activities undertaken and other achievements to motivate why she should be considered for the scholarship. The decision will be made on the essay and their school’s final grade scores.

Students can get up to 20% on the tuition fees depending on the impact of the essays. Plagiarism will not be accepted. The decision of the scholarship committee will be final.


When an existing student refers his brother/sister to pursue their degree at IMT Dubai, the sibling students would be given a discount of 10% on the tuition fees.


The objective of this scholarship is to promote access to higher education to students facing financial hardship. Upto 40% of tuition fee waiver can be offered to the deserving students.

Student must have an academic average of 70% or above to apply. CGPA must be 3.30 or higher for the scholarship to continue. Scholarship holders failing to meet the above-mentioned requirements will no longer be entitled to retain their scholarship and will therefore have to pay the applicable tuition fees in order to continue their studies.

Students must submit the following documentation to apply for this scholarship:

  • Completed and signed application
  • Current Rental contract
  • Bank statements
  • Employee certificate and salary statement for each employed immediate family member – Parents, Siblings and Children.
  • Copy of Passport and Visa for all working family members (or both parents)
  • Any relevant documents as a proof of financial inability

All documentation will be kept confidential. Any application with incomplete documentation will not be considered by the scholarship committee when awarding the financial hardship scholarship.


Applicants from countries or regions that have lower percentage of  graduates may qualify for special international scholarships, to provide a truly global learning experience. A maximum of 10 students from each country:

  • Countries from the African continent (except South Africa)
  • Central Asian & CIS countries
  • Countries from South Asia (Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia)
  • Middle-East countries (Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Palestine, Afghanistan)
  • South and Central Americas (except Chile and Argentina)

Up to 40% on the first and last semester tuition fees is offered to the students.


  • Scholarships and Grants are not applicable on Administrative fees, Accommodations, Transportations, Insurance, Visa, Medical, or other fees unless explicitly stated.
  • The student will be awarded only one type of scholarship, rebate or discount of the highest value in case a student qualifies for more than one.
  • Scholarships and grants are valid for the term offered and cannot be deferred. All conditions of offer must be fulfilled before a scholarship can be awarded.
  • Students must satisfy all academic and English language entry requirements for admissions prior to being considered for a scholarship.
  • The decision of the scholarship committee shall be final and binding. The scholarship committee is composed of the Program Chairperson; Admissions Head and the Committee Chair.
  • Any variation to the policy will be checked with the Management Committee.


  • While there is no formal application form for scholarships, students are expected to send in a request in order to apply for a scholarship. The sooner the application is made, the greater the chance of receiving a scholarship.
  • The students have to clearly state for the categories for which they wish to apply for the scholarships and grants. The students have to submit a description on why they wish to apply for the various categories of the scholarship.
  • To apply for the scholarships, the students shall submit their application and complete all the documentation required to be considered for that category of the scholarship.
